Caroline Favell Album, 1824.

Poetry and prose, mostly transcribed by Caroline Favell, consisting chiefly of works by Byron, Shakespeare, Coleridge, and others. The first leaf contains two poems by Amelia Opie, in her own hand, dated Jan. 29 and Feb. 3, 1824. There are also scattered illustrations: a pencil drawing of a cottage (Leaf [2]), a watercolor of a bouquet of peonies (Leaf [4]), and two engravings, loosely inserted: "Barley Wood," by White; and "The Undercliff" on the Isle of Wight, by Brannon.
